Sadie Amara Calvano was born in America. Her most famous role is recognized for her character of Violet Plunkett from the CBS comedy series 'Mom.' Calvano grew up in California She was at first attracted to at competitive gymnastics. In the end, however, Calvano chose to pursue a career in acting. Her first appearance on screen was in 2010, in the CBS show 'NCIS. The biographical crime drama movie J Edgar was her big screen debut one year following. She is now one of the most exciting actresses in recent years. She was nominated in the year 2011 for an Young Artist Award in the category of Best Performance for Young Actresses aged 11-15 because of her performance on NCIS. In 2013 she was nominated to win another Young Artist Award for her guest appearance in Disney XD's comedy series, 'Kickin' It'. Calvano was a key character in "Mom" in the series' first three season, as well as making numerous appearances during Season four. She was awarded the Gracie Allen Award in 2015 for Best Female Actor - Rising Star due to her performance in the show 'Mom'.
